Contest score
AuditDAO also had no data at first, so there was a problem of not knowing who should be the AuditExpert. Therefore, a select group of security experts were whitelisted as AuditExperts. This was based on the groups that had performed Audits for AuditDAO in the past.
The ranking is displayed on the leaderboard at the end of each contest. However, promotion to the role of AuditExpert or demotion to the role of AuditExpert will only occur after two completed contests.
There was a recent change to a total of four weeks instead of two, as one four-week contest is easier to evaluate than two three-day contests.
In each contest, the score earned to move up in rank is determined by the average score of the competing (participating) Auditors based on previous AuditDAO contests.
For example, if Bob's average score is 7, Joe's average score is 13, and Mike's average score is 5, and only Bob, Joe, and Mike participate in the contest, the total contest points earned in the contest would be 25 (7+13+5).
If you sign up with the wallet address you use on Code4rena, you will get a provisional score based on the 5 contests you participated in on Code4rena in which you had high points. This will determine the points that a new participating Auditor will bring.
Assume that Bob has never participated in an AuditDAO contest before. He did participate in code4rena. His temporary, hypothetical points are then the average of his top five contests on code4rena.
This does not benefit you, except that it adds to the total contest points you can earn in that contest above. (This does not make you an AuditExpert or anything like that.)
If you have never participated in either AuditDAO or code4rena, the average of all participants is a provisional point.
Temporary scores do not appear in AuditDAO rankings and are replaced as soon as the first score is earned in an AuditDAO competition; AuditDAO rankings are based solely on scores earned in AuditDAO competitions.
Temporary scores do not appear in the AuditDAO rankingsWhen an Audier enters an AuditDAO contest, its leaderboard points (ranking) is determined by the average contest points earned in the last five AuditDAO contests. To ensure that bad scores do not remain forever, they will disappear after five contests.
This will also be changed as above and will be based on 10 weeks of contests instead of 5.
