Remediation review process
The AuditMaster of the contest is expected to complete a corrective review as part of his/her role. The Correction Review ensures that post-Audit protocol changes have been properly implemented. The protocol will select a date within three weeks of the Audit end date that it would like to conduct a corrective review. At this point, one of the following three will occur.
AuditMaster will verify that the date is OK.
AuditMaster will propose an alternate date for the corrective review.
If the AuditMaster is unable to conduct a corrective review, he/she loses 25% of the fixed fee. That 25% will be used to reward a new Audter for conducting a corrective review (based on their performance in that particular contest).
If AuditMaster determines that it will take more than 0.5 days to review protocol code changes, AuditDAO will work with the protocol team to schedule a new (preferably smaller) contest to review these changes. The new contest will be a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 3 weeks. If it is determined that the protocol code requires a new contest, the first AuditMaster loses the 25% fixed fee for the revised review. However, they will be given top priority (and receive a fixed reward) to become an AuditMaster in a follow-up contest for that protocol. The protocol may allocate the refunded portion (25%) of the AuditMaster's compensation to the next contest.
